Hi I'm Alexe 

I used to be a woman who couldn’t let go—constantly feeling guilty for resting, even though I was exhausted and overwhelmed. In today’s fast-paced modern world, this struggle is all too common, and I know many of you can relate. But everything changed for me in 2017 after discovery of Yoga Nidra and cyclical living. These practices transformed my life, helping me break free from burnout and find much needed balance.

As a certified Moonologer, medical astrologer, circle facilitator, yoga, Pilates, and Yoga Nidra meditation instructor, I bring a holistic and unique perspective to self-care practices. I'm also know as a pioneer in movement with over two decades of experience in teaching that includes co-founding and running London Dance Academy for 16 years, where I created a safe space for women to explore movement beyond traditional fitness.

Motherhood and relocating to a new country were pivotal experiences for me. During this time, I discovered cyclical living and body astrology, which became transformative tools for healing and rebuilding my energy. Inspired by their profound impact, I also trained as manifestation & astrology self-care coach, integrating the sun and moon cycles to help others restore balance and align with their natural rhythms. 

In 2020, I launched Universal Movement to share this cyclical living journey and support others in reclaiming their vitality. My mission is to help women align to the power of the sun & moon cycles and the importance of rest & letting go—because it’s the key to thriving amidst the demands of daily life. This moonlit rest ritual wellness community is a space for you to dream, reflect, manifest abundance, practice self-care, and most importantly, rest though our wellness practices.

The session begins with gentle guidance into a deeply relaxing state, aligning your body and mind with the introspective energy of the dark moon. The heart of the ritual is a profound Yoga Nidra relaxation practice. What classes can I find in Reclaim the moon? 

We run three live classes a month. these classes are also recorded and available for you throughout that lunar cycle. The classes include:

🌝 Full Moon class: Slow flow Release movement and yoga Nidra visualisation.

🌑 Dark Moon class: Restorative Yoga, Yoga Nidra, & Relaxation.

How do I access my classes & community?

You can access the classes through our website and additionally, for easy access on-the-go accessibility, you can download the Universal Movement App. Upon registration you will receive a link to your community login in. 

What equipment and space do I need for the classes?

You only need minimal equipment for our self-care and relaxation classes including items you already have: Your bed for yoga nidra and relaxation practices, a journal, a pen, a blanket, a cushion and a yoga mat if possible.

Most classes at Universal Movement can be comfortably done with minimal space requirements—specifically, the space of a yoga mat. Whether you have a dedicated workout area or just enough space for a yoga mat, our classes are designed to be adaptable to your living environment. 

How long are the rituals?

Our New moon, Full moon self care practices are 1 hour long. 

Our Dark moon deep rest yoga nidra online classes are up to 45 minutes.

Our self-care and body Astrology community classes are between 5-15 minutes

Are the classes live or pre-recorded?

These are live classes that are also recorded in the case you miss a session or want to go at your own time schedule. the new and full moon energy lasts for about 3 days overall, so it is okay to do this wellness classes in your own time and ensure flexibility, allowing you to seamlessly integrate your lunar self care routine into your own schedule. This dual approach is designed to provide the best of both worlds, combining the communal energy of live events with the convenience of recorded sessions to enhance your overall experience with us.
