Alexe - Movement Alchemist and Astro Self-care Coach 

Creator & Founder of UM methodology. A certified self-care and manifestation coach, Moonologer, medical astrologer, yoga & pilates instructor, and Yoga Nidra meditation teacher. Alexe has a background as a pioneer in the dance-and fitness industry, having co-founded the London Dance Academy, an alternative dance school that she ran for 16 years, providing women with a safe space to explore sensual movement beyond traditional fitness. After becoming a mother and relocating to a new country, Alexe faced a challenging transition, both physically and emotionally. During this time, she discovered cyclical living and body astrology, which became transformative tools for healing and rebuilding her energy. Inspired by their profound impact, she trained as a manifestation & self-care coach, integrating the sun and moon cycles to help others restore balance and align with their natural rhythms. 

Susanna - Pilates & creativity

Susanna is a Yin yoga & Pilates instructor, with over two decades of experience. She began her Pilates journey in 2003, earning certifications in mat, ball, and Reformer under the mentorship of Yvonne Lin, a respected figure in Swedish fitness. For Susanna, Pilates is more than a fitness practice—it’s a path to self-love, promoting spine health and flexibility. She brings a unique depth to her teaching by integrating her cyclical living awareness. Beyond Pilates and Yin yoga, Susanna is a talented artist, writer & painter, while also studying to become a yin yoga teacher. Her creativity infuses all aspects of her work, allowing her to guide her students with an artistic and holistic approach.

Journey into the transformative realm of yoga, Qigong, & Energy work! When Elizabeth encountered a Swami in India in 2013, he turned her understanding of the mind upside down. Inspired by the yogic philosophy that allows one to navigate life's experiences with resilience, Elizabeth delves into the profound practices that enable us to exist within ourselves, untouched by external chaos. With a foundation in authentic yogic practices from India, Elizabeth integrates both traditional and modern approaches to re-wire the Self from the inside out. Her teaching encompasses not only yoga but also energy work, guiding individuals to detach from the past and embark on a new, authentic way of being within themselves and the world. Elizabeth's aim is to inspire you to embrace your authenticity, nurturing both body and mind - empowering yourself to start a new path.

Kira - Medical Astrologer & Nutritionist 

Kira Sutherland is an Australian Naturopath, Nutritionist, Herbalist and Astrologer who lives between Sydney Australia and the mountains of BC Canada. She divides her time between clients, writing and lecturing on health, wellbeing, and astrology. Known for her vibrant, straightforward teaching style, Kira has lectured in Medical Astrology around the globe and has been in clinic practice for over 25 years. Kira combines her knowledge in Natural Medicine with her passion for Medical Astrology into a wonderful mix of mind/body medicine.

What is Medical Astrology and Body Astrology?

Medical Astrology
Medical astrology, also known as iatromathematics, is an ancient branch of astrology that examines how celestial bodies (the sun, moon, planets, and zodiac signs) influence physical health and wellbeing. It is based on the idea that each zodiac sign governs specific body parts, organs, and  systems, Each individuals planetary movements and alignments can impact their personal health. You can discover this though your personal natal chart (a map of the sky taken at the time of a your birth) that can identify potential strengths and vulnerabilities in the body.

At Universal Movement we use Medical astrology as a holistic tool to promote preventative care, understand psychosomatic links, and align wellness practices with cosmic rhythms for over all wellbeing. 

Body Astrology
Body astrology focuses on the connection between astrology and physical embodiment. It incorporates principles of medical astrology but extends to understanding how cosmic energies influence not just health but also movement, posture, and somatic awareness. 

The Moveology method designed by Alexe, Universal Movements founded was first launched in 2020 It is the first program of its kind that bringing medical and body astrology into practice. ✨ After several months Alexe decided to continue her studies in astrology before relaunching the program again in 2025.

What classes can I find in Moveology? 

We run six live classes a month. these classes are also recorded and available for the that lunar cycle. The classes include:

How do I access my classes & community?

You can access the classes through our website login at universalmovement.com

Upon registration to any of our classes or programs you will receive a email and link to your community login in. 

For easy access on-the-go accessibility, you can download the Universal Movement App. 

What equipment and space do I need for the classes?

You only need minimal equipment for moon phase movement classes including items you already have: Your bed for yoga nidra and relaxation practices, a journal, a pen, a blanket, a cushion and a yoga mat if possible. This simplicity makes Moveology accessible to everyone, with the only potential cost being the membership itself and the yoga mat if you don't already have one.

Most classes at Universal Movement can be comfortably done with minimal space requirements—specifically, the space of a yoga mat. Whether you have a dedicated workout area or just enough space for a yoga mat, our classes are designed to be adaptable to your living environment. For practices like restorative yoga, you can even make use of your bed for added comfort and convenience. We prioritise accessibility, ensuring that you can seamlessly integrate our transformative practices into your daily life, regardless of your living space. 

How long are the moon rituals and online classes?

The New moon, Full moon and Dark moon classes are all 1 hour long. 

The waxing moon workout classes range from 10 minutes to up to 30 minutes. 

The dance and goddess yoga workshops are between 1-1.5 hours long.

The waning moon stretch and yoga classes are around 45 minutes to aid relaxation.

Our workshops are up to 1.5 hours.  

Our self-care and body Astrology movement and wellbeing classes are between 5-20 minutes each
